At Kamp Krivit, we believe dogs thrive when they have opportunities to play, socialize, and stay mentally and physically active. Our supervised doggy daycare provides a safe, structured “pack” environment where your canine companion can make friends, burn energy, and enjoy a day filled with enrichment and fun. Located at North Star Veterinary Hospital, Kamp Krivit combines the excitement of daycare with the trusted care and experience of a veterinary team. Our goal is to provide a positive environment where every Kamper can feel comfortable, confident, and happy.

Safe Socialization Through Personalized Play

Every dog has their own unique personality, and we celebrate that. Safety is our top priority. Before joining Kamp Krivit, every potential Kamper completes an assessment with one of our Kamp Kounselors. This allows our team to better understand your dog’s personality, energy level, play style, and comfort around other dogs.

Our assessments help us place each dog in the play group that best matches their needs, ensuring a fun and positive experience for everyone.

Kamp Krivit Play Groups

Dogs play best with friends who match their energy and style. Our Kampers are grouped based on personality, activity level, and play preferences.

Fishers: Low Play Energy

These Kampers enjoy a relaxed day of leisurely strolls, sunbathing, and spending time with friends at their own pace.

Kayakers: Medium Play Energy

These Kampers enjoy bursts of active play before taking time to explore and relax with their pack.

Hikers: High Play Energy

These energetic Kampers are ready for adventure! They love to run, play, and keep up with their active friends.

Navigators: Mixed Play Energy

These adaptable Kampers know how to balance their unique energy and enjoy a variety of play styles.

Daycare Hours

Monday – Friday

Full Day Kamp

8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Half Day Kamp

8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

North Star Veterinary Hospital is closed Wednesdays from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM.
Half-day Kampers must be picked up by 12:00 PM.

Kamp Requirements

To help keep all of our Kampers healthy and safe, dogs joining Kamp Krivit must:

• Be current on North Star’s core vaccinations:
  • DA2PP
  • Leptospirosis
  • Rabies
  • Bordetella
• Canine Influenza
• Be current on flea and tick prevention
• Adult dogs must be spayed or neutered
• Puppies must be spayed or neutered by 6–8 months of age
